Look, I get it. I've definitely had these observations at times.

In a practice that historically has been steeped in tradition, and not exactly always inclusive, it's easy to feel this way.

But I'm here to tell you (in case you don't already know):

 "normal" is a myth!

There is no "right" way to be in love and get married.

In the years that I've been photographing weddings, I've encountered a wide spectrum of couples and love (and wedding professionals, too!) and have learned that there is space out here for everyone to celebrate the love and relationships they've worked so hard to cultivate.

At the end of the day, your love is the real achievement.

The wedding is the cherry on top.
