I had the honor of being asked to photograph Soo and Jon's wedding in Provence, FR in late Summer of 2023. With less than 30 guests, their intimate wedding was held at a Chateau near Avignon. Not only did I get to capture their ceremony and reception, I also documented their welcome dinner and rehearsal dinner the 2 nights prior to the wedding!
Day One: Welcome Dinner at the Chateau
With a pizza truck, champagne, and delicious cocktails, Jon, Soo and all their guests were happy to have finally made it France and to socialize with close family and friends!
Day Two: Rehearsal Dinner at Le Bistrot de L'Oustalet
After a day of adventuring in the surrounding countryside, the couple and their guests shared a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Many guests had the opportunity to give toasts, which were a combination of heartfelt, tear-jerking, and hilarious!
Day Three: Wedding Day!
I seriously can't think of a better place for a romantic, intimate ceremony than the chateau where Soo and Jon said their "I do's." Everything from the ornate flower arch and water fountain, to the string lights and surrounding Cyprus trees made for the perfect Provencal wedding celebration.
Soo's sister played violin for their ceremony and they had a trio perform low-key covers during their cocktail hour. For dinner, guests were seated at one long table with beautiful decor and place settings, and the dance floor gave everyone an opportunity to show off their best moves!
